About Us
Welcome to the Assassins' Guild!
The Guild is a General Interest society that is open to and accepting of Plymouth University students from any age, background or political orientation. It has it's roots in 1982 when the first Guild was organised at M.I.T. and the rules published by Steve Jackson, since then the game has gained popularity at universities across the world. We're a very relaxed group; you don't need to show high commitment as a member - however - the more participation, the more fun the society yields. We encourage creativity and silliness which creates an opportunity to meet several people you might not otherwise have had the chance to meet. It also offers a distraction when you need a break from your studies.
We aim to have a social at least once every 2 weeks but we may sometimes have one each week. These can range from drinking to non-drinking socials, game socials whether that be board games or chasing one another in order to rack up those kills. We have a leaderboard which is used to track your kills. All kills must be reported to Chi the Umpire (details can be found in the Game Rules PDF here). Please read the full PDF for all game rules and regulations.
